Will a brand new holley 770 bolt up to my stock intake manifold (on a 350)

No- Holley is squarebore and your manifold is spreadbore- you would need an adapter.

 

aarrrr **** are adapters expensive? or whats a better carb to go with? I heard nothing but problems from edelbrock

 

get a new intake......

 

heh adapters are really cheap. Like.. 15 bucks or something.

 

In years past Edelbrock's name was dragged through the mud here, but I haven't heard such talk lately, and the big block manifold I recently purchased was first rate.

I don't have much praise to sing for their carbs or exhaust, but Edelbrock does all right by intake manifolds.

 

yea ive heard great things about thier intake manifolds, esspecially the Victor Junior or something like that
