Pressure Regulator Issue

I think that my fuel pressure regulator took a crap. Fuel running out of the top of the carb(holley avenger). I am getting a fuel pressure guage. I bought a brand new carb yesterday, and it ran good for about 10 min. Now same thing. I have a mallory return style regulator.

Sounds like the regulator is set to high for a carb set up. You need to get a gauge on it before you blow out all the seals.

Just put a guage on it. The pressure is 7 psi. Going to take the carb back for another new one. I think that the one that I bought had been on a vehicle before. Smelled of fuel. Now it is just the secondaries that are getting to much fuel.
