has anyone ever experienced choke problems on there speed demon carb?

it's a brand new carb and i recently hooked the choke up and 2 things that it's doing or seems to be doing it is 1) choke butterflies might be binding up on something because when i hit the gas in the morning to set it and have the choke butterflies close sometimes they dont and i have to coach them to close but they do open when it gets warm.

2) im not getting my fast idle they say again when u hit the gas before u start it it's supposed to set the fast idle. i have to go under the hood manually open the throttle and lift the black choke arm to have it hit the fast idle screw also when the car warms up and the butterflies open the fast idel wont go down i have to tap the gas for the idle to return.


im assuming it is binding up but i've looked over and over and cant see anything hitting unless it's something in the choke housing where the spring is.
