TBI to Carb/ECM question

I tried to search this but the search has been disabled...

Building a 383 for my 91 RS... I want to pull the ECM (of course). My only real concern is the speedometer and the VATS system.

Will the speedo continue to work or will I have to modify something?

Will I have a problem with the VATS system? I want to pull the ECM out and IIRC the ECM controls the VATS system. Or am I wrong?

Thanks in advance!

Pull the ECM - it doesn't affect either - your VATS and the speedo will still work fine.
