Hey Guys I have an 305 carbed and she is running rich as hell, i mean when i hit the gas to the floor WOT, u see black smoke like crazy for like 10 ft. and when my buddy was cruising behind me the other day with his windows open and sunroof open, he could feel the fuel hitting his contacts. I need some serious help tuning this carb. i need to know which screw is for fuel and which is for air, i already know where to hook up a vac guage, and I know which is for the idle. please thanks guys

What model Edelbrock do you have? Do you have the manual that came with it? If not, go here Edelbrock.com - Carbs & Accessories - Square-Bore Carbs and click on it. There is also a link for FAQs.
On the Performer Series, the mixture screws are the big ones in front. The idle screw is on the side where you hook up your throttle linkage.
You have to tune these things more than the Holleys.
