Proform main body

Why cant you use a 600 DP carb for the proform main body? It lists 650, 750 dp's

The proform main body needs a 1 11/16" throttle bore diameter.
The 600 using a smaller throttle bore diameter. A 650 is a 600 main body mated to the larger 1 11/16" diameter throttle base plate used on larger venturii 700/750 +cfm carbs.
