Accel pump cam question
I have minor hesitation on my new 4160 Holley on top of a Performer RPM Air Gap on top of Vortec heads on top of my new 350. Had timing issue--resolved. Read some threads about a pink cam vs. other colors. Also read about using the "2nd hole". I don't see any linkage "holes" that are adjustable
The cam is on the throttle shaft. It pushes on a flat lever that goes to the accel pump lever. Where is the "2nd hole"? Do I need clearance between the Accel pump plunger and the lever at idle?
Thanks!

If you look closely at the accelerator pump cam it has 2 or 3 different holes in it and they are numbered. You may have to remove it before you can see the numbers. You don't want any clearance between the pump plunger and the lever, you want it so as soon as you give it some throttle you get the squirt so there is no hesitation. But not too tight to where its dumping fuel all the time.
