CHOKE LIGHT FLICKERING & RELAY BUZZING!!
I have a 86 LG4 Camaro with a CC Q Jet. The choke light intermitantly flickers. Also the choke relay intermitantly buzzes. Any sugestions? Seems to act up when idleing in gear. I checked the choke connections and replaced the relay and still the same problem.
Thanks Frank

On my '84 the choke light is also an indicator when there is an electrical problem. Check for a loose wire or a possible intermittent short or a loose ground.

That light might say "Choke"; but it's REALLY the "Alternator" light. It just happens that when the alt goes bad, the choke also doesn't work, which is an emissions failure, which the feds evidently required them to provide the warning light for.
The particular part inside the alternator that's making it do that is probably the diode trio. But, if that's gone bad, then odds are, the rest of the alt is in not so good shape either.
Replace your alternator.
