i have a holley 600 on my iroc b/c my 650 i have to send back to get fixed. the 600 came off my moms 71 stingray. it idles fine and sounds great everything if doing good the fuel level is right below the sight bowl which from what i understand is where it is supposed to be. now my question is when ever i get down hard on the gas it boggs really bad. when you ease into it it boggs a little then it jumps up and goes then it jumps up again and pulls even harder. but when if im sitting still and mash the gas it wont go anywhere it just boggs but when you ease into it like easy driving it does just fine and acts like there is no problem at all. can someone help me out so i can adjust this one right untill my new one comes in?

 

Sounds like an accelerator pump issue to me. If they're not working right you'll run fine when you open the throttle slowly but when you open it quickly it bogs.

 

Yea, it sounds like the accelerator pump linkage is out of adjustment. Too loose.
