like that pic you attached, its great and simple. hope it stays arround for future use.

1. i never used choke relay or rarely even a choke. im in s. florida.
2.i dont use a fuse for alt but yes on coil, you need to find out there amp draw. ex: (80A alternator) then go 125%. 80 x 1.25 = 100A
3. run ground cable to motor, also run strap from firewall to motor. on older chevys either stud off exhaust manifold or alt mount bracket.
4. 10awg is fine as long as your alt isnt a monster and try to find wire with high temp jacket when going down to the starter.

Everything went great and without a hitch
I got it and started her up on the first try.
Thanks for your input and wish me luck on the rest on the nightmare
i.e. headlights, flashers, taillights o well off I go.

All post a picture and update my little drawing,
with what I change, once its all cleaned up.
