Gauges
i recently installed an msd pro billet distributor and and msd 3 coil blaster on my carbed engine and i connected it to the magnetic output on the msd 6al box. Now my tach and speedo don't read and its a 92 RS 305 with the electronic gauges(not digital) does any1 know how to bypass the ecm and get these gauges to work

The ECM doesn't have anything to do with them.
You did something else to affect the operation of the gages. I don't have any idea what that could be, other than disconnecting a circuit you shouldn't have, of blowing a fuse that feeds the gages.

Do you have the tach wire from your factory gauges hooked to your MSD? That has to be hooked in order for it to work correctly.
Yeah, you need to hook the factory tach wire to the TACH terminal on the side of the MSD box for it to work.
I'm still not entirely sure if the ECM has anything to do with the speedo on a 92. I know there's no speedo cable on a 92- VSS and electronic type connections only. I did a swap to a carb setup on my Wife's 92 RS a few years ago but I left the ECM in and my speedo worked just like it always did. Never tried it with the ECM taken out. In either case I can't see how an MSD box install could possibly affect the spedometer one way or the other unless you shorted something out accidentally.
