ditchin the fi hsr setup for a non computer controlled carbed set up

i have a 383 block that i stopped working on a couple years ago and now making a return. i wanted to go carbed since most people say its cheapest and easiet way to get horsepower. emission is not of a problem in my area. i would have to indeed learn about carbs and how they work. i have stripped the wires in the car in place for a dfi gen 7. but now i am thinking of getting painless wiring kit to have all my neccessities working like wipers headlights. im not too sure what to do i need some opinions and advice. i ll name all the parts that i have in the car. 1991 z28
385 stroker
with trickflow twisted wedge heads fully ported and polished.
cam 230/244 duration .544/.576lift with 1.6 rocker arms. hydraulic roller 112ls
all forged bottom end with 10 to 1 compression je pistons.
roller double timing chain.
msd6al ignition.

my question is can i use all of the above when it was for a fuel injected motor and to be used for a carb set up even the cam??? im trying to have this to be a weekend warrior not a daily driver but for street and strip. what carbs and what intake manifolds would go with what i have best. any help would be greatly appreciated.

if i were you, i'd go with a 750 double pumper, RPM air gap, and a pro billet hei. lock out the timing at 36* and run a start retard box.

what gears and stall you going with?

Weird, I wonder if there is something wrong with a HSR/cc306 combo....cause I had the same combo and ended up switching it to carb.
