Junked the TPI, installed a carb....

After starting my cam swap LAST april I finally got it done and on the dyno again. the blue lines are the stock TPI setup with 21 year old valvetrain. The red lines are the results of a performer intake, 600 cfm Edlebrock, Summit TPI cam set( had planned on staying TPI) fresh heads, timing gear set, push rods, 1.52 roller tip rockers, etc. after I did the headers, y-pipe and catback it had only gained 7hp/3tq. My jaw about hit the floor when i saw the numbers Got to get a balancer cover since the balancer has slipped a bit and take some fuel out since its rich and it might see 190hp!!

so the blue is with the cam and headers too or did you install the full exhaust and a cam then put a carb on it and dyno it?

switch to a performer RPM to pick up another 15 hp easily and swap to a holley double pumper for more performance as well.

Hey alex, (its Juiced91z from CCFB) did you gut all the excess wiring from the car? when i get back from kuwait think you could give me a little guidence on what wires i can take out, i dont really want to rip it all out and re-run all new wire for things that i need. i would appreciate it a bunch, thanks

what is that about a 20% loss of HP from the crank to the wheels? 215 at the crank isn't too bad for now alex, hoping for about 275 at the wheels myself.
