carb issues

carb issues
After i completed my carb swap i cant keep the car running for more then 5 mins at first the regulator leaked fixed that now i cant set the float. with the needle and sean fully screwed clockwise i still get flooded with fuel i kno its suppose to drip out the sight hole mine floods the fuel pressure its at 6.25 psi

Some crud got in the needle & seat, or they're damaged.
Do you have the filters behind the inlet nuts on the carb?
Although now that I think about it, screwing the nut clockwise would raise the float. Perhaps you should turn it the other way.

yes i do have filters the carb is brand new out the box is 6.25 to much pressure i thought clockwises lowers float?

To be honest with you, the few times I've had to adjust mine, I just turn it the direction that does the right thing.

looks like ill try counter clockwise then can have the float levels that high hurt the carb?
