service engine light?

service engine light?
check engine lights on but no codes at all and i think 12 should flash .any ideas?

When you loose power to the ECM the light will stay on, and of course not flash since the computer isn't operatonal. I would expect the engine to run rough and use lots of gas if that's the case. Check fuses etc. Btw.; you did try the paperclip in the diagnostic plug thing?

This happened to me. My car ran rich and ruff. I had a check engine light on and would not go off or flash codes. I made some calls and picked up a used computer and problem fixed. BTW. This was an all stock Z28 with cc Qjet.
