carb choice

i have a computer controlled q jet and would like more performance. i was wondering since i have a digital dash would that effect it if i change carb and disty. i have a edelbrock performer intake. what carb would you put on.

Digital dash has absolutely nothing to do with performance (or lack of it).

You've got the right carb already. You've got the wrong air cleaner, exhaust (front to back), and cam, in that order. Replace those, and you'll have some actual performance.

I'm running the same carb in my Camaro that you've got.
