Walbro 255 in tank

I kind of want to keep my intank pump setup. I am thinking of putting a walbro255 in there. Only thing is i don't see one that puts out less then 50 psi. I have a mallory 4309 do you guys think this setup will work? Anyone running this setup?

Re: Walbro 255 in tank

I thought that the regulator determines the pressure. I recently installed a TRE pump. I know TRE had a high pressure, and regular 255 lph.
I wouldn't recommend TRE, it doesn't come with the o ring seal for the tank, and I had to cut the base of the holder and open it to get the strainer on.
It would've been nice to know.

Come on anyone?? Will the 3 port mallory safely bleed down 50 psi and run a constant 7psi. I really need to move on this im begging to look at external pumps i really dont want to go that way but its starting to look like the only way to feed a high Hp engine.

Yes, the reg can handle that.

Without resistance, the pump puts out zero psi. The 4309 produces pressure by restricting the return flow to the tank.

"Better" in what way?

Lowest price? Probably eBay.

Best customer service, quickest delivery? Summit or Jegs.
