Transmission: 700r4 w/ shift kit

fueling a carb
long story short i put a 305 from a 91 ta that had a throttle body in my car and put on new heads intake and edlebrock carb. i want to add an external electric fuel pump . from what i understand 6psi is the presure i need to the carb. what do i do? part #'s would be great if you can.

Get an electric pump that puts out the required pressure. CRT-P4070 from summit is one you could go with. It puts out 6psi, perfect for that carb. The installation is easy, you will end up wiring the one terminal to a keyed power source (so that the pump only has power when the key is turned), and one terminal to a ground. The instructions that come with it are detailed enough for you.
Then, just make sure you route your fuel lines correctly, and you'll be good to go.What pump were you running prior to this? If it is an in tank one, then you can keep that and wire it right and just use a regulator to back the pressure down to 6psi. Or, if your car was already set up for a carb application you'll be fine and good to go.
