Surging on acceleration

This problem really just started recently, she surges. Taking off from a stop when the engine is cold is not very fun, but now it does it even when the engine is warm. Cruising about 45, get on it to pass someone, she goes but surges, like it's not getting enough fuel. I just rebuilt the carb and cleaned everything because of this, but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be. I have an Edelbrock performer for a carb mated to a performer intake? Thanks

It's probably not getting enough fuel. Check/replace the filter first, but a fuel pressure check is probably also in order (read: Fuel Pump).

Re: Surging on acceleration

What should the fuel pressure approximately be?
