ZZ3 vs ZZ4 intake any difference?
Not sure if I'm posting this in the right section, but since I'm running a 1987 CCC Quadrajet this may apply. Any difference between the old ZZ3 intake and newer ZZ4 intake? both are '86 & earlier bolt pattern non egr and accept a quadrajet I think. Was the ZZ4 one made lower to fit underneath the Camaro hood?

They are the same part number. They both have the EGR valve boss and mount either spread bore or square bore carbs.
I understand they're an Edelbrock Performer EGR manifold with a Chevy bowtie cast into it.
