stock carb question
hey all.
how much is the CFM on a stock carb from a 305 engine??
im thinking of switching my TBI to carb. would it be better just to get the intake and the carb from another 305 but the carbed version?
i was thinking of getting one at the auto wrecker and rebuild the carb.
or would it be better to get one from a 350??

Some 305 q-jets are limited to around 600-650 CFM. All are capable of at least 750 CFM. See the sticky for a link to a tech article about optimizing a q-jet.
