i got a 87 sbc thats was tbi and i want to switch it to carb ive change the manifold, what else needs to be done? ive heard that the rocker/cam configuration is set for tbi and wont work for carb?

Um, the rocker and cam will be fine. Most TBI cams should have the fuel pump eccentric still there (heck my brothers 87 TPI had one). Rockers have nothing to do with the swap and will be the same.

You'll need a non CC Distributor, I bought mine from Jegs. They have a sweet deal on the Street/Strip Distributor for about 130. Also a carb of course, along with a fuel pressure regulator. Check the tech article on the swap they have a few part numbers listed. Some Jegs brand braided line would work well. That's what I used, and it's alittle cheaper then Earls. Drop base airfilter for a stock hood.
