fuel line throbs

fuel line throbs

i was just wondering if the line is weak and i should replace it
but my fuel line coming from the tank to my mech fuel pump throbs
like a heat beat, i had to zip tie it up so it would not come in contact with my header

what do you think guys
sorry still kinda a newb
but im starting to figure this stuff out lol

Not sure what a "heat beat" is, but a line that isn't properly supported can be expected to move around. Doesn't sound like anything to be worried about.

i think he meant heart beat. preassure to the pump should be pretty constant and not "throbbing the line"

A mechanical pump pulses every two crankshaft revolutions. A "throb" motion isn't at all unusual or unexpected. Clip or tie the fuel line properly.
