fuel leak problem in holley carb

fuel leak problem in holley carb

i have a holley 600 vac secondarys that i just rebuilt but now gas is blowing back out of the air tube thing one the blow cloest to the firewall why is this happing? and what do i need to do to fix it?

Most likely the float needle isn't sealing against the seat. Typical causes are dirt, not assembled properly, not adjusted properly.

i agree, i had the same problem with my demon and it was because the needle/seat was jammed open; i replaced it with a new one and it worked great. good luck
