Choke voltage.

Does the voltage at the choke wire go off once the choke is fully open, and the car is warmed up?.I'm getting 14 volts at the wire at start but once car is warmed up the voltage stays the same.Is it something to do with the choke relay?.

Re: Choke voltage.

The voltage is supposed to be there whenever the engine is running. The voltage warms up the choke heater and keeps it warm.

Thanks trumps,i thought that was the case.I guess the relay must be okay as well or i would'nt be getting any voltage there.
