Vacuum line

This is kind of a stupid Question but witch port on the carb do I connect the Vacuum line from the distributor too? the right side or the left side?
I have a Edelbrock performer 600 series carb

im not 100% sure but i think its the right and why is your PCV valve going to the back of the carb?
