which carb should I get?
which carb should I get?
Engine: 383c.i. stroker, 10:1 compression, victor jr intake, 195cc aluminum trickflow ported heads, 230/236 comp cam hydraulic roller, BBK aluminum underdrive pulleys,
Drivetrain: TH350, 10" 3500 stall converter, 12 bolt rear end w/ 3.73 gears
Exhaust: Full length 1 3/4 hooker headers, 3.5" off road y-pipe, flowmaster cat back.
Will be spraying nitrous 100-250 shot.
I might be doing a 406 solid roller build in the future aswell so something that would be able to transfer to that setup would be great.

Holley 750 HP double pumper would be sweet, or QFT version of same, assuming you can live without a choke.
Re: which carb should I get?
Ok I have gone to jegs and looked at the holley 750 hp http://www.jegs.com/p/Holley/743645/10002/-1/10271
Now there are two different ones with some different options which one would I want to get? Sorry for all the questions but I know absolutely nothing about carbs as I am converting from F.I. Also would this carb be able to support a solid roller 406? Thanks .

Jegs is throwing in the fuel line and a pressure gage with one of them, that's all. Not a bad deal.
It'll handle a 406 to about 6400 RPMs.

Is this going to be on the street at all? or strip only?
I bought the 750 street HP and love it. It has all the vaccum hook ups. It was $519.

It will be driven on the street only on the weekends. As far as supporting a 406 solid roller build maybe I should get one size bigger so I can just transfer it over?
Re: which carb should I get?
Im not sure how high I will be spinning it because I am not sure where it will make peak power but it will be a solid roller motor with a big cam that is just small enough to drive on the street on some weekends and to car shows, I will have the victor jr intake, and I will be using my trickflow heads if they perform good for me or I will be going with a little bit bigger head. Also on the jegs site one carb has mechanical secondaries with down leg boosters and the other has vacuum secondaries with straight leg boosters. Which one would I be looking for?
