ccc problem
Hi,
I have got problem. I realy dont understand what's going on.
I have rebuild my 305 everythink was good, engine ran strong until I srewed on air filter on a top of carb. Since I did it, my engine stalls immidiatly after startup, the smoke smels extremely reach, I looked in intake manifold throu secondaries there was a lot of gas. I tryed remove airfilter and few times attempted to start engine (also after "flood clear procedure"), but promlem remains.
What should I do??
my Camaro engine spec:
chevy 305, rochester ccc carb (just after rebuild) comp carms xe264 hyd/rlr. all new valvetrain, ported and cleaned stock heads, full lenght hedders.
stock ignition. e3 spark plugs, Carter 120 gph fuel pump initial timing 10 deg BTDC

Re: ccc problem
The air cleaner may be interfering with the linkage in some way. Make sure your choke is operating properly and the electric wire to the choke coil did not come loose.
