First guess would be you got a couple of wires mixed up.

Did you drop any of the spark plugs?

Are all of the terminals properly installed on the wires? Are all of the terminals properly connected to the distributor cap and/or spark plugs?

Re: Running strange after changing plugs and wires

That is apparently what was wrong. I went and got a few new plugs thinking I dropped one and caused it to go bad, well I started with number 3 then started the car, not the problem, then I took out number 1, The gap was way to close and I assumed that was the problem, switched plugs, started car and it sounded its old self again and is running strong. So all is good. I plan on checking the rest later to on on the safe side. Thanks for the help.
