Fuel Pressure Problem...Maybe?
I have a 89 Firebird. 350 with an Edlebrocke Carb on it. Recently I was driving the car for a couple minutes only and then everytime I push on the gas, it will die on me but it always starts right back up. Do I have to adjust the fuel mixture screw? The car will idle fine and I can rev it up and it wont die, only when its in gear....Any ideas? Thanks!

Do you have the manual that came with the carb? If not, go to Edelbrock's website and download it http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...ers_manual.pdf .
Sounds like you have an accelerator pump or main jet/rod issue. The mixture screws are for idle only, so messing with them will only mess with what works correctly now.
