Another question..84 L69

Okay, so I'm going with a new intake, carb and disty (maybe). It's a stock 305 L69, I'm wanting to go with the Edelbrock 2701 intake and the 1406 carb, and then an HEI of some sort. This should match up well, correct?

Re: Another question..84 L69

It'll bolt up just fine at the expense of power and fuel economy over a properly working factory L69 system.

Go ahead and get the intake, except make it a 2101 so you can keep a good carb on it. Nothing wrong with the stock distributor that an ignition module and coil won't fix. Performer carbs are for people who don't have any carb and don't know the difference between performance and shiny.

No need to mess with what ain't broke.
