Lack of Fast-Idle
My car wont go into fast idle.
Not even when I have the choke set so hard as to richen the mix while hot.
Yes, I pumped the gas while cold. That does not work. It only works when I push the fast idle cam up myself.
Also, The butterflies open and close as they should.

when starting press before cranking the gas pedal slowly and release it slowly; try it when the car is cold in the morning and hasn't been started at all. If that doesn't do then there is a fast idle screw you can adjust; not sure of your carb so check the stickys at the top of this section for that adjustment - great info there.
