fuel lines

so Im in the process of swapping my 2.8 fuel lines for my new setup with which im running the 2.8 pump to a bypass regulator to my carbed 350. I used lines from a 1985 camaro (the ones that cross in the trans tunnel) anyways, my question is, which line is which-is the 3/8 line my supply or return? one is 3/8, one is 5/16 and im not too sure?

The bigger one is supply, the smaller one is return.
