ok heres the deal.. have 85 originally 5.0 carbed car. now has a 383. but i swapped the 383 in two yrs ago an forgot how the wiring went. can someone give me a basic over view. also my distibutor has a connector on it.. but my car has nothing that i can see connects to even though its the one that came off the car.. maybe i cut it by accident? thanks

 

The ignition power is pink, and the tach is white if that's what you are asking. (On a V6 anyway, but should be the same.)

 

What? Its always good to label things even though you know what they are. cause one day youll forget where they go.
For mine theres two wires that go on the starter and another one goes onto the soloniod, for my dizzy theres one for the tach and the other is the power. If you got pics I can look at mine and give you a better description.
