Hi All,
Just curious, does anyone know where the actual ECM Connection is located at on a 1983 Z-28,with a 305 Engine.

It's a flat 4-wire connector that comes from the base of the distributor and connects to a harness back by the firewall. It's often difficult to see, tucked down between things at the back of the engine.

Re: ECM Module

Hi,
Heres the problem I am having.I have replaced my stock computer controlled dist with a regular vacumn advance dist.I want to get away from the stock dist. When I have my edelbrock carb hooked up, I cant get it to idle like my quadrajet did.It idles terrible.Any
ideas what it could be? I have all hoses hooked up.Dont hear no vacumn leak coming from the carb hooked up to the Edelbrock SP2-2 Intake.I am lost.

Then you don't have an ECM connector anymore.

Completely wrong-headed, in my opinion.
