i have a personal mechanic
he said it was the carb
i went to auto zone and they said i dont have carbs that i have injectors
i drive a 1991 Camaro RS 305 5.0 manual trans

can anybody plz shed light on this

first you need to tell us your problem and second take a picture of your motor and someone here will tell you what you have , it's not that hard to tell.

 

You either need to find a new parts place, a new mechanic or learn how to identify parts on your own car.

 

The first thing to remember is that the chance of finding any intelligent life at AutoZone is about nil. This applies to the large chain parts stores, too. If you want intelligent life, go to NAPA.

Unless someone has changed things, you should have throttle body injection, which somewhat resembles a carb.
