Engine: 555BBC; Dart, Lunati, SRP, Howards
Transmission: ATI TH-400
Axle/Gears: 35 spline 9", locker, 3.00's
holley 950hp carb alky to gas?
I picked up a "new" holley 950HP series thinking it was gas... until i looked at the jets sizes... and the shooter sizes... and the dual 50cc pump w/ huge pump cams..... then i checked the model #. sure enough... alky carb.
can i just swap the metering blocks with gasoline ones and keep the main body? i don't want to try and re-sell it because this is the first time i have ever seen an HP series carb for sale on craigslist.
I know you can go from gas to alky, but what about the other way?
help greatly appreciated!
