Fuel Pressure

I have a 454 in my 1988 Camaro and want to use the electric fuel pump
with a carb. My question is how many PSI should I set the pressure regulator to?

Re: Fuel Pressure

5-7 depending on the carb.

And you HAVE to use a return-style regulator - there's no other way - if it doesn't state return style, it isn't (and if it cost less than $80 new, it isn't).

Because the in-tank electric fuel pump needs constant flow through it to keep it cool. A dead-head reg will kill the pump eventually.

I interpreted "the electric fuel pump" with "stock factory in-tank electric fuel pump".

I could be mistaken.
