Couple issues, might be carb related?
Couple issues, might be carb related?
I have a 86 IROC, that has been swapped with a 350 carb motor. I know the engine has a mild cam, weiand intake, 650 edelbrock carb. I know im running a rich, not horrible but you can tell its rich.
Now my problems, if the cars cold, i can get it to fire up no problem with one turn of the key, but if the engine is even remotely warm it takes a couple cranks and me throttling it to fire, and even after firing sometimes it will die and ill have to do it again. Any ideas?
Also when i first start driving it after firing it up when its cold, it will bog down on me, if i try giving the throttle a good push, I dont mean to the floor or even half way to the floor, just a like quarter throttle. I haven't killed it by doing it but you can feel it bog and it sounds like im back firing. Once the car is warmed up it has no problems. Any Ideas?
