Edelbrock vacuum fitting
Title says it all, I want to use the rear port on my Edelbrock 1406 Carburetor but can't find the fitting to make use of the port.
I am referring to the large diameter port intended to be used for PCV vacuum. The carb only came with a plug and needless to say the good folks at autozone have been less than helpful.
Considering this is a vacuum fitting and thus vital to my motor not sucking terribly (no pun intended), I am loathe to use some jacked up fitting I dug out of a bin at harbor freight. Anybody got the part number for this sucker?

Re: Edelbrock vacuum fitting
Is the plug a screw in type metal plug? If so, I'd remove it and see if I could match up threads/pitch at local Autozone.
If it's on the back, it's not for PCV, it's for brakes. PCV is large center port in the front.
Otherwise might try checking with Edelbrock. www.edelbrock.com

What's funny is autozone doesn't even CARRY just plain 'ol screw-in hose barbs. The only one I could find was for a gas line and it was too big and suuuper long.
I guess I'll wander down to home depot or something and see if i can find a brass hose barb to use.
Also, tried the edelbrock site, no dice. Thanks anyway though
