I've been looking in to upgrading my Carb and I've been asking around and have been told to get one anyone think of anything better?
The car:
84 bird
350bord+.30 over
274comp. Blower / nitrous cam
140 something baby blower.
125hp nitrous stand alone system
Hooker supper comp. headers 3" y-pipe to 4" out the back

 

I ran one on my N/A 8000rpm 383 I had in my old 84TA. Bad *** carb that seems to be perfectly tuned for nasty motors with minimal out of box adjustments. Mine was ran literally out of box. It needed no tuning for my app.

 

I guess your the only one LOL witch 830 did you get the expensive one or the really expensive one

 

It was the "Chokeless Race Carb" with the 30cc primary and 50cc secondary pumps that sells for close to $600 now from Jegs. When I bought mine from them years back it was $499.

 

Cool thanks for the info but the money I was going to use to buy a Carb is now going to have to go towards a transmission LOL
