carb leak
I was pouring gas in the carb and a couple seconds later I saw drops falling onto the intake. It's on the driver side. It looks like it came out of these springs because they are wet:

Re: carb leak
How much did you pour, & what carb is it??
JUST a guess, but sounds like you didn't open the butterflies when you did it, & the gas found it's way out.
What problems led you to do it?

Re: carb leak
It's a quadrajet.
here's what it looks like without me touching anything:

I noticed this lever doesn't have anything attached to it, does something go there?:

Re: carb leak
As already asked the question is if the butterly's were opened. The poster meant was the throttle cracked open a little. If not the gas would sit on the throttle plates (butterflies). Then it will find a way out. This is usually the throttle plate sahfts as they are not actually sealed. a slow seep is normal but running out would indicate a worn shaft or shaft bore in the baseplate.
