Starting Point for CC Q-jet on Vortec 350 ?

Carb is currently bone stock sitting on top of the LG4 (stock except for TPI exhaust system)
I'd like some perspective and advice from the CC carb gurus here of what's going to happen and what preliminary mods I should do to the carb before swapping in a Vortec 350 with a 206/212/108 cam, and a VortecPerformer/RPM manifold or equivalent.
I'm thinking the carb should be much more seamless and adaptable than a TBI or TPI setup would be.
I know the carb is not optimized from a performance standpoint even on the stock engine, and am wondering if the (assumed) lean condition at heavy throttle /WOT will get worse, or if the stronger signal through the carb from the additional cubes will actually help it.
If I decide to keep the manifolds instead of headers, that cam will probably be on a 112 LSA rather than the 108 to minimize overlap/reversion.
The car already has 3.73 gears and will get a 2800 9.5" converter.

TIA!

You'll mostly want new secondary rods and hanger. I plan on going with CK rods and a G hanger (some people say B hanger) with my own vortec swap. I've also seen people suggesting DR rods but I cant find those. You can buy rods and hangers new from summit, edelbrock makes them since edelbrock sells reman'd quadrajets.

You'll also want to mod it so the secondary throttle plate can open a full 90 degrees. And some people say to set your mixture control solenoid for a little bit more than the usual 1/8 travel, I've never tried that.

I dont think edelbrock sells a vortec rpm with the spread bore mount. Just normal performer and square bore rpm.
