Road Race carb ques?

Does anybody have any experience with the BG Race Demon Road Race carb? http://www.jegs.com/p/Barry-Grant/De...62623/10002/-1 I'm getting a new carb for my 87 383 IROC which has been built up for RR. The carb sounds like a winner but for $1000 bucks it should also do my laundry. If not the BG can anybody tell me what a good road race carb would be? Thanks.
