87 camaro 350 TPI cam Q?
Im in the process of TPI to carb swap and i was wondering if anyone knew if the cams for the tpi had the lobe for the mech fuel pump rod and if not would i have to use a cam for a non hydrolic

87 does for sure (I hold an 87 L98 cam in my hand as I write this). 91 doesn't (ditto). Somewhere in between they stopped putting the FP lobe on the cam. Some say it was around 1990. I suspect there was no firm cut-off date. Probably some sort of "rolling replacement" whenever they ran out of one batch of cams and started using the new batch in a given engine assembly plant.

1987 was the last year for any carbed 3rd gen (maybe any carbed GM car at all), so makes sense that somewhere after 1987 they stopped making cams with fuel pump lobes.
