Quadrajet Fuel Inlet Size
I need the size of the fuel inlet on an E4ME Quadrajet. I'm replacing the steel pump to carb fuel line, and I'm replacing it with this Edelbrock unit

My problem is the fuel line uses a -6an end and the quadrajet inlet very different
My research says it is either 7/8 or 1 inch. So I would need a xxxx to -6an adapter.
If anyone knows the inlet size or knows which adpater would work, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Re: Quadrajet Fuel Inlet Size
I did find this: Mr. Gasket Adapter Fitting, Shadow Series, Carburetor, Rochester, Thread Size 1 in. x -20, Size -6 AN

Assuming I'm right, the inlet is 1 inch for 1975 and up QJets. This adapter would take the place of the one already on the carb that connects the solid fuel line to the fuel inlet.

See bottom left (fuel inlet), the plug before the hard casing

Leave the nut that's there, there. Put this in it.
Should end up looking something like this.

Awesome! I'll see what I can find. Does the nut have to stay there because of the fuel filter?

I ended up finding this:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-220667B/
Appears to be the exact same thing, 6an to inverted 5/8-18, except that it's black which will match my lines.
