305 TBI swapping to carb with the least hassle

Hey Guys, I'm really doing this as a favor to somebody else. Basically I sold my 305 TBI from an 89' to a guy who wanted to replace the engine in his son's 86 . The 86's 305 was carbed, and they didn't understand the difference and the extra complexity. It was a complete engine, ie distributor, all accessories etc. Everything ran fine. However the car it's going into is set up for carb. What's the easiest step to just getting this thing in there and running. Just swap over the intake manifolds, attach the fuel lines and call it good? He's trying to return it (craigslist return? yah right) so I'm trying to make it work for both of us. Any help is wonderful. Again this is for a daily driver, he's not concerned about performance or anything so the simpler the better. Also he has little to no idea what he's doing, and it seems, the shop that's doing this for him doesn't know too much either.
Thanks for any help.

Just needs to put his carb, intake, and distributor on your engine.

Thanks for the replies guys. Turns out he hadn't even taken it to a shop, and all his car had was a misfire. Who buys an engine before figuring out a misfire? Haha.

some people like to go the hard way first....they tend to either learn not to do it again very quickly, or never learn....
