Edelbrock rich? need carb Help!!!

hey guys, ive got an issue with my edelbrock 1406, i have a 305 ho with edlebrock intake, aftermarket distributor, hooker headers, msd wires and edelbrock filter. i brought it to a shop and had everything tuned, ignition timing adjusted and everything set. The camaro runs fine when started up and for awhile after. BUT ive come to notice once the water temp reaches right around 190-200 (which is where it sits, doesnt ever get much hotter) 3-5 times when im taking a corner and press on the gas from about 15 miles an hour it back fires pretty loud, sounds like its all exhaust and not intake just one loud pop... ive replaced all the spark plugs with the exception of numbers 5 and 6 i believe because theyre so damn hard to get at.

PLEASE help me out with this, this is my dream to get dialed in perfect, i could care less about the appearance of the car i just want it to run amazing, im thinking it could be running a little too rich or possibly the timing is still off, again it only happens when the cars been running awhile and you accelerate

THANK YOU!!

sidenote: just thought id throw in ive been told my airfilter is a few inches too small? its not as big as most of the ones ive seen on 350s, i believe its the edlebrock that is 9-10 inches, not sure if that plays apart in fuel/air ratio

Air filter size shouldn't matter. Sounds like a timing issue to me - I'd check to see where exactly timing is set at. Should be way higher than stock factory specs (like 10*BTDC+). Edels run right out of the box with literally no adjustment at all on 99% of SBC motors.
