Drilled out idle mixture screws?!
I went to adjust the mixture on my LG4 (E4ME) Camaro today, only to find that neither of the screws are there. It appears like a previous owner had drilled out where the screws should be! Ill post a picture below. Anyone have any idea why this would be done?
This is done on both sides, but I can't get a picture of the other side.

from the factory they had welch plugs. You could remove them with the carb off an a chisel. They maybe the the d shaped or two flats on the screws.

Re: Drilled out idle mixture screws?!
That's not an E4ME (computer controlled). No TPS, no MC solenoid plug. Given the late-model "capped off" idle mixture screws (which are in there- peek with a mirror and you'll see their basically round heads with flats on either side) I'd say that's a mid-80s pickup truck QJet.
If you don't have the special tool to adjust them take the carb off, unscrew them with needle-nose pliers and cut a slot across the head with a Dremel cut-off wheel so you can turn them with a regular screwdriver. That's what I do. 4-5 turns out as your starting point.
