correct throttle/kickdown bracket
hey, im looking for the proper bracket to hold my throttle/kickdown cables, i have an edelbrock 1406 and performer intake, also i need the part that holds the cable to the carb im using the stock bracket now ant the alignment is off and a bolt and a couple nuts to hold the cable in place, a part number would be great. Thanks in advance

I believe Edelbrock sells the correct bracket and cable studs to work with an OD automatic like the 700R4. Might want to call them.

Re: correct throttle/kickdown bracket
does anyone know exactly which part number from edelbrock will fit my car. My car is an 89 RS, originally 305 tbi automatic... now it has an older style 305 in it with edelbrock performer intake and 1406 carb. I'm guessing which one i use is based on the original cable lengths for the car... so would i use the #8032 for vortec heads because thats the type of head the car originally had? Help from those that have actually done this type of swap would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
